這個制度持續了39年，在這個是各個大學生最後一次的實習，提供了設計新鮮人一個發展的空間、熬出頭的機會。許多廠商、想進設計系的新生都會到場前來觀摩，然而近年來它的價值卻越來越低。

在新一代設計展中，每位學生消耗了大量金錢、體力、時間來參與這場盛宴，但從中所獲得的東西不盡成正比，有的需要半工半讀才付得起參加費，有的在過程中因為老師認為的評審喜好而改變了學生想做的主題，在過程目標被指導老師改來改去......整個過程中學生對於設計的熱忱也慢慢地被消磨殆盡，隨之作出來的成品品質也參差不齊。
Every student spend money, times and effort to fit in this festival that is unnecessary, but what they gain far away from what they given, many of them was confused by their teacher, as well as their passion going demolished, what comes out is project that make their 4 years design student life worthless.
設計本該是創新的行業，但這個39年的制度卻如此一成不變。
隨著時代的發展、資訊的流通量，實體展的價值開始降低，每年動用極大的工程在場地開工布置，實質能為學生帶來的曝光與效益卻不及於在網路上投廣告的流量。

而新一代的獎項價值，也隨著每年評審不同、喜好不同，每年獲獎的多數而漸漸失去了指標性。
綜觀來看，為何學生還需要花費如此龐大的時間來參加新一代實體展？

Design shouldn't live without new ideas, but a system already running for almost 40 years with no willing to change.
With the development of the times, the value of physical exhibition has become lower. It's a tremendous amount of work and resources every years, but bring less attention then they put their project on the internet.
So, why students should using the tradition way to take part in YODEX?
我們的所做所為等同於反抗目前的設計教育體制，因此借用抗議活動常見的元素作為設計的原型，表達出對於被迫參加展覽的不滿，並期望參加新一代設計展這項慣例能獲得需要獲得改善的重視。
What we do is a disagreement to design education nowadays, that is why we learn from public protest event to impress our disappointed because of forced to participated in YODEX.
